In the corseted days of yesteryear, bloomers and bicycles meant freedom for the sensible woman-about-town. Parisian Delight is a tribute to those first women to shed their skirts and hop on two wheels. It's a playful feminine garment, perfect for indulging in your own shocking spectacle of independence, or just lounging about at home. They're worked seamlessly from the bottom up in a silky, luxurious yarn; the seat is shaped with short rows for a flattering, comfortable fit, and flirty lace edges the cuffs. This pattern was originally known as Miss Bloomers Bifurcated Ensemble, but has since been updated and now includes more sizes. Lace pattern given in charted and written instructions. I'm Andrea and I make great knitting patterns! I live on Vancouver Island in Canada, where I knit, design, and ride my bike. I love the functionality and beauty of knitting and knit everything from head to toe. My patterns have been published in Brooklyn Tweed Wool People, Twist Collective, Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Knitty, and other publications, as well as independently. I'm working on a book called Rugged Knits with Interweave that's scheduled to come out in the spring of 2016. All of my independently-published patterns have been thoroughly tested and edited for clarity and accuracy.
