This sweater is quick and interesting to knit, with minimal finishing. The claw cables, one of which travels up the back and over the hood like a dragon's dorsal ridge, add to the organic feel of the design. The hood and the thickness added by the cables make this a cozy sweater for chilly days. Instructions are given for both long-sleeve and vest versions. Cable stitch pattern is both written and charted. Kira K Designs
Kira K Designs is a line of original knitting and crochet patterns with a streamlined and eminently wearable aesthetic. Research on historical clothing, which Kira did during her former career as a theatrical costume designer, is a strong influence on her design sense, and many patterns reference styles from the 1920s through the 1960s. Kira's family history of Danish Modern furniture design is also an important influence on her patterns, resulting in garments and accessories with clean lines and intriguing details that are both interesting to make and easy to wear.
