Pattern Details

My husband doesn’t wear yarn. He always says that it’s itchy and uncomfortable. So for a long time now, I’ve had a goal to make him a hat that he LOVES! Since he’s totally addicted to wearing his baseball cap year round, it simply made sense to create a hat that he could use along with his cap in order to have both the comfort of his favorite cap along with the warmth of a winter hat. This project makes a super cute, unisex slouch for any member of the family! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pattern Includes Sizes: Child Teen Adult Female Adult Male This is a beginner-intermediate level pattern, which is worked in the round from the bottom up. This pattern calls for Fingering (1) Weight Yarn and Size 4.0mm (US6) Double Pointed Needles (or use the Magic Loop Method) OR whatever size is needed to achieve gauge. I first learned to knit when I was about 15 years old and my sister bought me knitting needles for Christmas. I have been knitting on and off since that time, but really got back into it shortly before my son was born. I had dreams of being able to work at home and raise my children, so I threw myself into something I love, knitting, to make that happen. I have always loved trying new things and designing, but since knitting helped me to achieve my goal of staying home with my little one, I have found an even deeper respect and passion for it than I ever imagined possible. I love creating, coming up with new ideas, and turning them into real, tangible items. Every one of my patterns is designed with love and I hope you will love them as much as I do! Check me out on Facebook where I offer pattern testing opportunities, chances to win my patterns, and a little knitting community! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you found a pattern you can't live without <3 Melody
