This sweater is knit from the top downthe yoke is worked, then the sleeve stitches are placed on holders while the body is worked. The sleeve stitches are returned to double pointed needles then worked for a few rounds. No seaming is required to make this piece. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting in the round Increases: m1-l and m1-r decrease: p2tog cable cast on GAUGE 16 sts and 23 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in 2 x 2 Rib after wet-blocking and stretching to dry.
