PATTERN DETAILS

This cute kid-size top is great for layering. The armholes are generous, so it can be worn as a summer dress, a jumper over a long-sleeved tee, or a tunic-length sleeveless top. It is knit in the round from the A-line skirt to the slip-stitch bodice, which creates a subtle gathering at the empire waist. Simple crochet finishes the edges, including a decorative crocheted hem. Kira K Designs
Kira K Designs is a line of original knitting and crochet patterns with a streamlined and eminently wearable aesthetic. Research on historical clothing, which Kira did during her former career as a theatrical costume designer, is a strong influence on her design sense, and many patterns reference styles from the 1920s through the 1960s. Kira's family history of Danish Modern furniture design is also an important influence on her patterns, resulting in garments and accessories with clean lines and intriguing details that are both interesting to make and easy to wear.
