A maddy baby knitting pattern for three sizes of teddy bears. Knit this pattern in different yarn weights (Sport, Worsted, or Chunky) to create a Papa, Mama, or Baby Bear. Note: If making this knitted toy for a child, 3 years or younger, you may wish to consider for safety reasons, embroidering the eyes and nose. The knitting pattern, written in both US and metric measurements, includes knitting charts for each of the toy sections. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit purl increase decrease GAUGE Sport - 24 sts x 30 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch. Worsted - 20 sts x 26 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch. Chunky - 15 sts x 20 rows = 4"/10cm in stockinette stitch. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Length: Sport (153/4"/40cm) Length: Worsted (191/2"/50cm) Length: Chunky (251/2"/65cm)
