This is a lovely crescent shaped shawl that is soft and airy. The lace pattern isn't too big or too hard, but enough to add interest. The Miya Shawl can be worn as a shawl or scrunched up and worn as a scarf, making it a versatile addition to your wardrobe. I started knitting in the long cold winters of Armenia while serving in the Peace Corps. Knitting was a way for me to keep some remaining shreds of sanity. My first knitting projects were small toys that I would hide in my friends homes when I went to visit them...Ok, maybe knitting fed my lack of sanity.
