More that a Scarf yet less than a Shawl, I am calling it a Scrawl. An interesting triangle created by increasing on one side of your knitting which forms a offset point when worn with longest side wrapped around your shoulders. Named for an adorable little town in Maine where autumn colors and Jack Frost first appear. This scrawl will add a bit of color and warmth to your wardrobe. Fingering weight yarn is listed here but the design works well in 400 yards of any weight yarn. The red with blue splashes pictured here is Lorna's Laces Shepherds Worsted, color Tuscany. GAUGE 24 sts = 5 inches/ 12.7cm in Leaf Lace Pattern SUGGESTED YARN 400 yards of Fingering weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Malabrigo, Sock COLORWAY Archangel #850
