An easy, dramatic, stash-eating shawl. Garter stitch with short rows molds this shawl to fit the wearer beautifully. Designed to be worked in two halves for perfect match and to eliminate the risk of running short of yarn. It is designed to extract the maximum impact from small amounts of fantasy yarns. Suits many yarn weights, minimal finishing. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY short rows with wrapped stitches extended three needle bind-off GAUGE approximately 12 sts x 24 rows = 4" sq measured over garter stitch (every row knit) in mohair yarn: SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS variable, from neck warmer to glamorous shawl! SUGGESTED YARN 200 yards of Sport weight
