I love layering and when I first touched this yarn (Brae Tweed by Knit One Crochet Too), I just knew it had to be turned into some little layering piece that would keep me warm but yet not overwhelm me. Lizzy is just that - a little vest/shrug layer that is super easy to knit and feels so cozy to wear. It is knit flat and all in one piece and put together by picking up stitches and working a three needle bind off technique. The pattern includes a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to put the vest together so if you have never worked these techniques before this project would be a great introduction!
