Pattern Details

These delightful Christmas stockings are knit flat on 2 straight needles using double knit weight yarn. They make lovely tree decorations, bunting or can be added to a wreath as shown. The decoration is added once the knitting is complete using duplicate stitch (swiss darning). There is a photo tutorial showing how to do this included in the pattern, along with a chart and instructions for all the designs shown. I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :) https://www.facebook.com/LoveFibres-1673778779549020 Instagram - @LoveFibres
