Pattern Details

Lisey is perfect first Entrelac project. Not only will you learn a new technique but you will come away with a stunning cowl. Entrelac is nearly impossible to replicate with machines. Your friends will never find a gorgeous gradient cowl like this in any store. Blow them away with your new cowl and your new skill. This pattern features photo tutorials to show you every step an a video tutorial to illustrate how to knit backwards and save yourself flipping your Entrelac project back and forth. You’ll want to keep this pattern/tutorial for all your Entrelac projects in the future. Yarn Recommendations: This pattern is specifically designed to use one ball of Sol Degrade by Lang Yarns. No more. No less. You can substitute with one or two balls of your favorite medium weight gradient yarn. Just knit until you are happy with the length and follow either Right to Left or Left to Right finishing instructions. Nora Silk Garden will require 2 balls or 3.5oz of your favorite color. Gauge: 6.5 sts x 13 rows with 6.5mm needles in stockinette stitch You may require larger sized needles to obtain gauge as the designer knits quite loosely. Finished piece measures: 9” wide x 12.5” long (when doubled over) 25” long before joining. 23cm wide x 32cm long (when doubled over) 64cm long before joining.

Knitting is my main outlet and a nice distraction from my crazy life as a military spouse. My designs are for everyone. Yellow Ribbon patterns are easy to read and understand and the finished products will ALWAYS FIT and look fabulous. Knitting, cross stitch, crochet, spinning... basically anything that involves yarn makes me happy and I make it my mission to share that joy with everyone willing to pick up a ball of yarn or thread.
