Thoroughly test knit and edited. US and Metric equivalents. Free support. Lovely romantic look. Japanese stitches (smocked ktbl twisted ribbing) and lace. Charted pattern. Worked in the round, center out, from a provisional CO. Uses needle size progressions for shaping. Tightly worked at the top to allow for a standing 'collar', growing into a wide soft flow for the lace bottom. Intermediate skill level project. Requires swatching for gauge/tension and blocking of finished item. Tutorial images for blocking included (as separate optional print out section). Recommend experience with uneven/moving repeat boundaries, but instructions and clear chart provided. Recommend high animal fiber content yarn for this project.
