I grew up in a creative household. My mother and grandmother both made clothes and embroidered. I learned to crochet one summer while spending time in the South, a great aunt taught me, we made doilies, nothing that stuck with me. My mother bought various kits from a craft club when I was around 10, saying they were for her but actually they were for me. I got my first sewing machine at age 11 and started crocheting again when I was 18. I taught myself to knit in 2008, after my car was stolen. Couldn't find it in my heart to crochet at that time.
In 1988 I taught summer craft class at my church.
I am the mother of seven children and seven grandchildren and one great grand I enjoy creating for family and friends.
