This shawlette uses the same twelve row lace pattern from the Lacy Lady Scarf but this time just along the edge of a stockinette body. It is worked sideways from end to end by increasing evenly in the first section, working even for the middle section, and decreasing evenly for the third and final section. Just one skein of Malabrigo Arroyo makes a soft cozy shawlette to wrap around your neck! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting lace (k2tog, yo, RT) increasing, decreasing blocking lace GAUGE Finished Gauge: 19.5 sts and 25 rows = 4" [10 cm] in St st, after blocking. Working Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4"[10 cm] in St st, before blocking. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approx 11 inches (25 cm) wide at the widest point and 69 inches (173 cm) long, after blocking SUGGESTED YARN 335 yards of Sport weight
