Moebius knitting is fast and fun, and a great new skill to learn. The easy-to-memorize knit-purl pattern and worsted weight yarn make this unisex cowl a surprisingly quick knit! The design is named "Kombu" - the Japanese word for kelp - because the stitch pattern is adapted from the "Seaweed" pattern in Barbara G. Walker's A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns. The first syllable is pronounced "comb" as in a hair comb. The pattern includes instructions for both an infinity cowl and a hood, each in three sizes.
