OK ~ I admit it... I love my coffee and tea! I looked around for cozies on the internet and there are many talented designers. But I couldn't find the cozy with that certain something. So, I took a deep breath and said to myself, I'll design my own. I wanted something simple, but with enough design detail to make it interesting. And so the Knot So Tough Coffee Cozy was born. I was so pleased with the way that it turned out, I took another deep breath and decided to put it here on Craftsy. This is the first time I have offered something I have designed to others. I hope you enjoy knitting this as much as I enjoyed designing it. GAUGE Gauge isn't too important with this project. But remember that the tighter you knit, the less elastic your cozy will be. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS to fit a standard travel mug or take out coffe cup

Recommended with this pattern

  • Small amount of sport or worsted weight yarn
  • 4mm (US size 6) needles
  • yarn needle for sewing seam and darning in the ends

Well, what can I say about me? I am happily married to a most wonderful man, who I might add, puts up willingly with my yarn adiction. I am Mommy to 2 lovely lady Dalmatians, Smokey and Aerial. They are my inspiration and constant companions. I love to knit, crochet, craft, cook, and I am an avid supporter of our local fire department (my husband has been an active firefighter for 27+ years!). I am also a bit of a techno~nut. Health problems are forcing me to lead a less active life. So to keep myself occupied, I decided to try my hand at designing patterns. I am working on several ideas at the moment. So stay tuned for more ideas to come! I am working on getting some better pictures. I have the equipment, its just time to use it....
