"Knit Purl & Rip-it" Socks are knit in Fair Isle, using 2 colors, cuff down. This pattern does not teach the Fair Isle Technique or how to knit in the round. You will choose the needles and method you are accustomed to. The directions are for using 2-16" circular needles. This pattern includes 4 charts for your Fair Isle work. There are 2 heel options; a standard heel flap, and a short row heel with no wraps! This is a fun pattern, try using a self stripe yarn for your contrasting color. So many options! I live in the quaint Alpine City of Gaylord MI. I learned to knit from my great grandmother at the age of 8. I am also known as O/C Knitiot, and I come by it naturally. Everything has to match & balance in my knitting. My friends tease me, but I secretly fear they will bury me with mismatched socks to get even. Ravelry FaceBook Group
