PATTERN DETAILS

Alternating rows of lace patterning and slip stitches combine to create an interesting stitch pattern that is strong enough to show off that one special skein of variegated yarn. This cowl is knit in the round in one piece. This cowl is suitable for any yarn that can be blocked to show off the lace patterning. It was written specifically to work with those variegated colorways that look so good in the skein but turn into confetti when you knit with them. However, this pattern will also look good in solid or tonal yarn. This pattern contains both written and charted instructions as well as a blocking schematic. The lace pattern is a 6 stitch x 24 row repeat. The pattern switches direction every 12 rows. Due to the nature of digital downloads, this pattern is nonrefundable. Please ask any questions before purchase. I've been doing all sorts of crafts for most of my life. I love the pattern and structure of mathematics and how mathematics is interwoven with design and nature. I am inspired by color. I think one of the reasons that I've always enjoyed art and design is that I enjoy thinking analytically and transferring that into an artistic interpretation. I enjoy taking what I know and creating my own interpretation. I hope you enjoy knitting my patterns as much as I have enjoyed designing them. My goal is to provide a clear and well-written pattern that includes all of the information that you need to get a great result. The project might be challenging but that should not include trying to figure out the pattern! You may always email me at shellees_artworks@yahoo.com
