This is one of my most popular patterns! These cute baby booties are suitable for either boys or girls and are both modern in style and practical at the same time. They are button fastening so will stay on through all those kicks and wriggles! They are knit flat and seamed using double knit yarn. The circular needle is used only to take advantage of its flexibility to knit round the curve of the cuff when you pick up stitches for the main part of the boot Instructions are given for three sizes: 0-3 months - approx length 9cm (3.75"), 3-6 months - approx length 10cm (4.0") 6-12 months - approx length 11cm (4.25") You need to be able to knit, purl and decrease My patterns are written in standard uk and american terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you. I have worked for several years writing project instructions for UK craft magazines, including knitting patterns. You may make booties to sell using the pattern, but you cannot sell the pattern itself. Please use the hashtag #lovefibrespattern to share what you have made with this pattern on Instagram. I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :) Instagram - @LoveFibres
