This gorgeous bottom up shawl is inspired by the falling leaves of Autumn. Echoing the style of Estonia lace but with a heavier yarn, the finished shawl is both beautiful and wearable. Worked from the bottom up, the pattern is a mix of eyelet patterns, interesting texture stitches and nupps. If you are not comfotable working nupps, these can be replaced with beads or omitted altogether. This pattern is both written & charted. The Woolly Knitter
I learned to knit at my grandmothers knee aged 6. After many unfinished projects over the years, I finally realised that I didn't like seaming, so almost all of my patterns don't need it. I love to knit in the round, be it socks or sweaters.
