The honeycomb stitch has been one of my favorite stitch patterns to design with this year. So far, I've been designing home dcor items with that stitch, but I finally decided that it would great combined with an easy 2x2 rib stitch in a scarf. However, I really got inspired to make a cowl for part of this year's collection and so the Honeycomb & Flowers Cowl was born. It can be worn with the flowers in the center, on the side, or if you're really daring, turn the flowers to the back so that they are seen from behind. And this design is super easy to get on and off because it closes with snaps. With snaps you won't have to worry about messing up your hair by pulling the piece over your head as you do with some cowls. Peace and joy to ya all... I had one grandma that knit & quilted and one the crocheted & made clothes. When I was 5 - one taught me to knit - one to crochet. When I was 7 I learned to sew and when I was 12 I learned to quilt. I've tried just about every craft at one point. Now I have a blog and website dedicated to my journey with knitting and I design knitwear accessories for self/home/and children. I also design handmade jewelry based in sterling silver and gem stones.
