Pattern Details

The Honeybee Cap and Beret are abuzz with a swarm of delightful little slip-stitch bees. Ascending from a mock honeycomb border atop a twisted rib brim, the bees take flight into a tight spiral at the crown of each hat. Pattern includes instructions for BOTH hats. The pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit to reduce the potential for error. INSTRUCTIONS The pattern is fully charted, but also includes complete written directions so the ability to read a chart is not necessary to work this pattern. YARN NOTES A worsted weight yarn with good stitch definition and little to no halo is recommended. Slight tonals will work, but highly variegated yarn will distract from the slipped stitch pattern. Allow approx 115 yds (105 m) worsted weight yarn for cap. Allow approx 175 yds (160 m) worsted weight yarn for beret. Whether you are new to knitting or have been knitting since you can’t remember when, I hope that you will enjoy my patterns. I strive to keep my patterns as straightforward as possible given the techniques being applied. I don’t want someone relatively new to knitting to be intimidated by my patterns. Nearly all of my patterns are charted, but still include full written instructions, so no worries if you prefer not to use charts. I am always happy to hear from fellow knitters and welcome questions on any of my designs - before or after purchase. Knit happy!
