Easy to knit, very cute bear. Arms and legs are easily button jointed and the body and head and nose are all knitted in one easy piece. The bear is knitted using two strands of yarn together, one plain and one textured. By changing the textured yarn, bears will also change as can be seen in the photo. All my knitting patterns are full of step by step coloured photos for added guidance should it be needed. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Basic knitting skills Knit Purl Increase Decrease Cast on and off GAUGE Not too important for toys. As a general guide if you find your stitches are tight on the needles then move up a needle size, or, if they are always looser go down a size. Either way, the size of 'HONEY BEAR' will just vary slightly. Please be aware that you will be using fibre fill and you will achieve a better result if your knitting isn't too gappy. For this pattern I have used 2 strands of yarn together: 6mm knitting needles 14sts and 18 rows for a 4ins / 10cms square. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS APPROX SIZE: 15ins / 38cms

Supplies Needed

  • Oddment in double knit, or equivalent, yarn for paw pads and inner ears.
  • Approx 100gms double knit
  • Appox 100gms of textured double knit in a matching colour

My mother taught me to knit as a child. I also studied embroidery and needlework at school and college. Knitting, however, has always been my favourite craft. All my patterns have easy to follow instructions with plenty of step by step photos. May I just say a big *thank you* to everyone who has purchased one of my knitting designs. x
