Because I don't like dishcloths but I do like mindless knitting from time-to-time, I started building this little ditty. The texture of the fabric makes it quite absorbent (just wash your cotton well before using to remove any sizing). I blocked mine wet... well... just because that's what I do when I wash knitted things. It didn't really need it. The stitch pattern is easy when you know what you're doing, but if you've never knit twisted stitches, I recommend watching the brief tutorial video that is linked to from the pattern. It's a private link so you won't be able to search for itjust use the direct link on page 2. Any questions, please message me! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit, purl, twisted stitches GAUGE 6.5 stitches and 8 rows = 1 inch in garter SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS variable, to size SUGGESTED YARN 175 yards of Worsted weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Lily Sugar'n Cream Stripes

Supplies Needed

  • US 6 - 4.0 mm straight or circa (to knit flat)
