Pure Hand Knits collection by Linda Whaley. Super Easy, Super Quick, and Super Chunky! This hat is knitted with two strands of Aran to achieve a light and lofty super chunky soft knit. Choose Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran and work with two strands on a pair of US13 (9mm) needles. The finer, delicate flowers are knitted with one strand of this wool on 4mm needles. These flowers contrast beautifully with this super chunky hat. A great way to use up your stash as you can knit the flowers in two contrast colours in either Aran weight or DK if you have some in your stash! Copyright. Hi there…I am an independent knitwear designer and sell my knitting patterns collections online. I studied knitwear design at Art School and graduated with a Degree in Fashion & Textiles. I freelanced in London design studios for the first 15 years of my career. During this time I was fortunate to have the opportunity to design with many yarn types, colour palettes and fashion looks for men, women and children. In 2009 I started selling PDF knitting patterns of my designs, and currently have 4 knitting pattern collections: Little Pickle Knits, Rocket Clothing London, Jessica Rose Hand Knits and Pure Hands Knits. I am also the designer behind the Little Rowan baby book 'Cherish' and little girls book 'Blossom' Both were published in 2016.
