Doesn't your grandpa have a cozy cardigan to wear around the house? Cardigan is worked from the bottom up. Shawl collar is extended with short rows to be wider at the neckline. Cabling is worked on the fronts and modified for the sleeves, and the back is knit in a wide-wale rib. Cables are both full written & charted. Knit it oversized to be comfy like Gramps, or to your chest measurement for a little more sass (shown fitted in size M). Gramps is available for babies & children, too!
