Graciella is a shallow crescent that can be worn as a scarf or small shawl. It is worked from the bottom up beginning with a border of lace scallops and diamonds with nupps. The body is worked in short rows in Stockinette stitch. A top border of small diamonds completes the shawl. Designer note: I am a loose knitter, so please check your gauge before beginning this project. It may be necessary to go up 1 or 2 needle sizes. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY k2tog ssk sl1, k2otg, psso 5-st nupp yo ability to read a chart GAUGE 18 sts and 32 rows = 4" in Stockinette stitch on smaller needles. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 50" wide and 10" long at center
