A girly lace mitt in three sizes (XS/S/L) featuring a pleated hem flounce with a panel of pretty snowdrop lace extending up the back of the hand (palm is worked in stockinette). A perky combination of entertaining, but simple to work stitches to knit in a fresh spring color for a special child or adult (smallest size will fit children ages 6 to 10 yrs). Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation is size. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit, purl, increasing/decreasing GAUGE 32 sts and 48 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on smaller needles (unblocked) SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 4.5(5.5, 6.5) inches around palm, to fit hands measuring up to 6(7, 8) inches around 6(8, 9) inches in length SUGGESTED YARN 200 yards of Fingering weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Woolen Rabbit Lucent COLORWAY Lady Slipper
