Pattern Details

This is an ideal pattern for beginners. It is incredibly quick to knit. It can be knit in one evening and makes a great baby shower gift or photography prop. It is knit on two needles. You can either knit it in Super Bulky Yarn or with 3 strands of Double Knit /Light Worsted yarn. The pictures show the hat knit in a Super Bulky flecked yarn, 3 different colored strands of double knit/light worsted yarn and 3 of the same color strands of double knit/light worsted yarn - an excellent way of busting that stash! The pattern includes yarn suggestions and internet shops where you can buy them - both european and american, but any double knit or super bulky weight yarn will do. My patterns are written in standard uk and american terms with clear instructions and plenty of pictures to guide you (including photo tutorial for pom-pom and tassle making) There are tips on knitting with three strands of yarn. I've crafted all my life. I learned to knit and sew at about the age of 4 and haven't looked back. I made my own wedding dress, and I spent many happy years as a designer/tutor for UK papercraft companies and I have written magazine projects for papercraft. knitting and sewing. Now happily retired, I spend most of my time crafting! :) Instagram - @LoveFibres
