How it works

  • This pattern was designed by a Craftsy independent design partner!
  • You'll purchase through PayPal and all profits go to the designer.
  • After purchase find your pattern in your pattern library.

This clever cardigan employs an unusual construction; the log cabin “diamond” is worked first, then stitches are picked up along the sides of the diamond to work either front. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and collar, which are worked in the round, making this an entirely seamless undertaking! It is very easy to adjust the pattern for larger sizes, and tips for achieving a perfect fit when upsizing are included. The 4-page PDF also includes a handy chart to reference while working the log cabin, making this a great introduction to log cabin knitting! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit Purl Picking up stitches along an edge Casting on in the middle of a row Working in the round GAUGE 20 sts/34 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Small: 34 inch bust Medium 36 inch bust Large 38 inch bust
