My teenage son has a lot of girl friends (who are not girlfriends) and they constantly charm me with their enthusiasm for handknits. They love to wear slouchy hats like this one and I designed it with them in mind! The delicate stitch pattern and cheerful yellow yarn made me think of dandelions. This pattern is quck-knitting and makes a great gift. It uses less than a skein of DK-weight yarn and is perfect for handpainted yarns that are so popular now.
