Based on one of my best selling little knitting kits 'Black Cat Starter Knitting Kit' I developed this pattern simply because I had so many requests! My inspiration originally came from my very own black cat called Jessie. I first developed this pattern back in 2009. Once knitted up this cutie can also be personalised. Please do not give to any child under the age of 4years due to the small choking parts ie. eyes, bell. You can always change these to make it more practical for this age group. The Little Knit Kit Company
Julie Richards first trained as a classical musician before entering the world of design. Experiencing changes in her life, Julie was forced to rethink her career path. Taught to knit at the age of six, Julie decided to return to her first creative passion, knitting. Launching her very successful online business ‘The Little Knit Kit Company’ in 2010, Julie realised the business potential she had rediscovered and sold her designs in the form of kits. Back in 2012, Julie was short listed for Swanseabay Business Women of the Year award where she came ‘highly commended’ for her efforts in the business world. Taking things a little slower now, Julie lives near the beautiful Gower Penninsular where she draws much of her inspiration from nature and nostalgia for her designs. Julie is now a successful independent knit designer and she continues to sell her beautiful patterns designs her on Craftsy.
