Because of my charity work, I have now designed three puppy dog knitting patterns and two little charity jumpers, and a thought I would like to add everyone's favorite....the Teddy Bear. The name comes from someone who saw another bear I made from someone else's pattern a while back...and I asked the lady if she would mind me using the name for my new creation....and luckily...she didn't. I've really enjoyed making all these little fellows, and hope that you will have as much pleasure making yours. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting sewing up stuffing finished article increase decrease GAUGE This really is not important, as this is a project that doesn't have to fit anyone...the only thing I would say, is please allow enough yarn if using a different one to the one I suggest. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS The finished bear in a sitting position measures about 20 to 25 centimeters SUGGESTED YARN 0 yards of DK weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Ice Eyelash is what I used COLORWAY Anything you fancy

When I retired, I felt like it was time to do a bit of 'give back' to the community, so I involve myself in a little voluntary work, and take great pleasure from knitting for charity......when I designed this pattern (which has been tested for accuracy), I thought that publishing it would perhaps help me to raise a little extra cash to donate to the local charity Caritas. I sell any toys I make if I can, and all the monies, apart from the cost of materials is given to this very worthwhile charity. I would be so delighted if you buy and enjoy this pattern as much as I have designing it and making it. Hopefully over time I will be able to add more patterns to my portfolio xx
