This sweater is great for boys or girls, and ideal for using up yarn when you don't have enough to make a full sweater! I chose traditional cream for the body, and a denim blue for the sleeves. You can make it solid, or mix-and-match colours as you please. The saddle shoulders are roomy and comfortable for active toddlers. The neckband is also roomy, making this easy to put on and remove at playtime. Ideal for slipping on over a t-shirt or thin sweater when the weather turns cool. Conor is an Irish name, and means "dog lover." BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting GAUGE 16 sts + 24 rows = 4" in stocking stitch with larger needles. SUGGESTED YARN 700 yards of Worsted weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Red Heart

I have been knitting for decades - aran sweater, designer garments, baby and toddler clothes. My recent foray into pattern designing has been so rewarding, and such fun - I am now often seeking inspiration all around me! I also have two little grandaughters for whom I love making unique garments.
