Pattern Details

Named for the delicate two-colored flower, this simple two-colored camisole with lace edges is perfect for summer picnics. It's also a nice travel project as it is worked flat from the bottom up. Lace is added from a provisional cast-on down to the bottom edge, and upward from open stitches. The lace edging is easy to memorize and can be blocked as rounded scallops or soft waves. As soon as I was able to manage a needle and thread, my grandmothers gave me craft-related tasks to keep me busy. My earliest crafting photo is me at 5 years old sitting atop a table making a foam cake base in deep concentration, craft glue in one hand and crepe paper in the other. Now, I'm an illustrator and designer with work in knitwear design and typography.
