Are you looking for a quick gift that brings smiles to a child's face? It works up quickly and since it is a Monster Fish, it is not picky in how it turns out. :) And on top of it, isn't it a great way to introduce your child to the value of money, perhaps a small allowance or the concept of saving, spending and sharing (donation)? The pattern also comes with a photo tutorial on how to sew in the zipper and a short description on hand felting. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Working in the round on double-pointed needles GAUGE Not crucial for this project. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS ~4" across body when felted (depends on how long you felt it)

  • Worsted-weight (#4) feltable wool yarn - ~75 yds for body, ~25 yds for fins
  • US 9 (5.5 mm) set of 5 double-pointed needles (dpns)
