CoCo's Pearls was inspired by those long necklaces reminiscent of Chanel style. There are multiple eyelet patterns in this piece, giving the illusion of different strands of pearls as it cascades. So feminine and classic. It can also be doubled around the neck for a completely different look. Any way you wear it, the texture speaks for itself. Cowl pictured measures approximately 44 inches in total circumference by 10 inches in height but you can make it any size. Instructions are given to modify for different sizes. The yarn used in this pattern is a bamboo blend which gives it great drape. You can certainly substitute any yarn you like, but I would recommend something that offers good drapability, such as a silk and merino blend. I grew up in a sewing household - my dad is a tailor, my mom a seamstress, like her mother before her. Over the years, I've learned to love knitting as much as sewing and it is now very much a part of my daily life. As a matter of fact, it is now my full-time job! Designing is an organic process for me - I get inspired by colors, textures, and, most of all, by the glorious world around us. This is a wonderful time for crafting. Who knew that technology would inspire such a creatively avid following? I say "Cheers" to all of us who seek a peaceful and creative world!
