I designed this knitting pattern over 20 years ago and made the stunning layered tree tea cosy as a gift for my mother, family and friends. It is actually very easy to make, there is NO knitting in the round, and I have tried to make all instructions suitable even for a beginner as they are mostly set out in row by row form - you can make 3 sizes of cosy with this pattern just by varying the needle sizes - and it is knitted with 2 strands of double knitting yarn so is quick to make. I have also included a pattern for an egg cosy and mug hug to compliment the tea cosy. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit and purl cast on cast off increase and decrease GAUGE from 4mm (depending on size required for your pot) SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS various COLORWAY Green White and colours for baubles

Recommended with this pattern

I love to knit - and crochet - and have designed knitting patterns for more than 40 years now...... I have two online stores that sell my handmade products, Bumblebabys is my love of all things baby and reborn - patterns, nappy cakes, baby shower gifts and any new ideas I create. I also own Tea Cosy World (speaks for itself really lol) and my first ever published book was 100 Tea Cosy Designs - this now available to buy from my craftsy store as a pdf. download and features a great range of tea cosies, phone covers, mug hugs, egg cosies etc. Everything from a Frozen theme Christmas Tree to my first ever cosy design, Ellie the Elephant.... all with simple row by row instructions -which is a feature of all my knitting and crochet patterns as I like to make them suitable even for those who have little or no experience. As ive said I am a full time carer to my OH, a mum to 4 grown up children and Nanna to a rather large brood (see my profile photo lol) so no shortage of those to try out my patterns on. Hope you will enjoy wandering through the designs in my store. PAM X
