I designed and hand knit this cushion cover using a medium weight/worsted yarn with three buttons securing the envelope closure. It has a simple all over chevron pattern, knit in one piece using only knit and purl stitches for a great textured effect. Great for a beginner who is looking for a new challenge -- make sure to keep count of the rows its easy to go wrong! Originally from the UK, and after almost 13 years in Texas, I now live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and sons. Easily outnumbered by boys in my house, I am queen of my little realm, hence the title Ladyship! Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design. I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
