Celtic Grace is a traditional aran cardigan with several updated features! This stunning cardigan is tunic length and it also has 6 inch side vents that are bordered with ribbing, a small feature that adds much to the overall look of the sweater. I designed this sweater in honor of my mom, who knit me a fisherman's knit sweater when I was in high school. I still have that sweater, and had no idea at the time just how special it was! I am a knitwear designer and teacher with a full time job and a family. I learned to knit, crochet, sew, cross stitch, etc. from my mother as a child. I think I jumped from craft to craft more often than I would like to admit! Knitting has become my main focus. I love to create new designs, and to figure out new ways of doing things. I really want my designs to be easy to wear, AND well fitting and flattering. There is no need to take all the time to make something if it is not going to be worn! Although I love to create a well fitting, good looking cardigan or pullover, I also really like to crank out accessories. There is nothing like the feeling of getting a project, or a new pattern done! I self publish. Those are the designs that you see here on Craftsy. I also design for yarn companies and knitting publications on a regular basis.
