A just-for-fun little cabled hat with tassels, along with cozy mittens to keep small hands toasty warm. You can skip the tassels on the hat if you wish, or you may even want to add pom-poms. You can make a cord for the mittens if your little one has a tendency to lose them. The bootees are easy to make on two needles, and have cable detail on the top of the foot. Caoimhe is pronounced Kee-vah or Kwee-vah, and means precious or beautiful. I have been knitting for decades - aran sweater, designer garments, baby and toddler clothes. My recent foray into pattern designing has been so rewarding, and such fun - I am now often seeking inspiration all around me! I also have two little grandaughters for whom I love making unique garments.
