Pattern Details

Floppy Eared Bunny hat pattern for babies and children. The pattern is knit in the round using worsted weight yarn and 4mm or US6 size needles. Contrasting inner ears and tassle ties make this a special and cute hat. Pattern comes in four sizes: 0-6 months, 6- 12 months, 1-3 years and 3-7 years. The hat has a lovely crochet border and earflaps with tassel ties. You will need up to 100 g of worsted weight yarn in main as well as 50 g contrasting colour of your choice, some DPNs size 4mm or US6 , a crochet hook and darning needle.The pattern is knit in the round. Pattern is intended for personal use. My belief is that children's wear should be fun, practical and comfortable as well as easy to care for. I am a highly creative person and there are a lot of artists, designers as well as dressmakers in my family and my great grandfather who was as a sewing machine engineer... Nothing quite compares with making something for your little one yourself. I encourage everyone with the urge to have a go. It's fun and a lot easier than you think! One of my daughters knitted a very simple blanket for her baby brother when she was 10 years old. It is by no means perfect but it has become a very special prized possession that both her and her brother will cherish for years to come. Empower yourself and have a go!
