The pattern was the second release for the 2011 edition of Super Sock Scarefest. If you've ever watched The Bride of Frankenstein, you'll know that we have to wait a long time before she makes an appearance in the film. When we finally do see her, she's wrapped in gauze from head to foot. These pedicure socks are inspired by her 'look'. Eyelets create the look of moth-eaten bandages. These socks are great for keeping your feet warm while your polished toes dry. The pattern comes with two leg options, and uses an easy random lace technique. They're a no-brainer (lol). You will need 2-3 50gm balls of Soxx Appeal, or 400-600 yds of fingering yarn containing at least 1% elastic. The ELASTIC IS CRITICAL to this pattern. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY follow a written pattern be familiar with sock knitting GAUGE 8 sts per inch in stockinette, in the round.
