PATTERN DETAILS

The Blueberry Clutch Evening Bag is simply constructed. The beauty is in the wool, and the texture of the stitches. With this pattern you can make yourself the most sophisticated accessory. I have not recommended a wool, as I thought this would be too limiting. I am going to knit a few to go with different outfits. My finished bag in the photos is 20cm by 13cm, and took just under 50g of wool. If you want to make a larger bag I explain in the pattern how the bag can very simply be made wider. The knitting is not hard: with the main section of the bag knitted in a bobble stitch, and a chevron section on the flap. The pattern also explains how to line the bag, and you can also have fun here picking a stunning lining fabric. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knitting Sewing (machine or hand) to insert lining SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished Bag is 20cm by 13cm

The inspiration for my knitting patterns often comes from nature. I love little knitting projects, and try my hardest to be realistic with my plant and animal designs. Often my projects start from something very personal: my own house or my husband's first car. Then I develop them into something that I think will be appealing. I live on the outskirts of London, and work part-time at a local school. My own children are always doing something creative. At school I love the days when we get really messy.
