You know that stage babies reach, just before they are crawling or walking, when then become all rounded and chubby? Well this is this bear!!! He is a big chubby bear with baby tummy and large feet and paws, like there is a lot more growing to be done! I have a photo of my grandson, sat in the middle of the sitting room, surrounded by toys looking very much like this bear. This is a pdf instant download knitting pattern for a big and very loveable bear. He sits at 13 inches/34cm, has a baby chubby tummy, large feet and paws, like he has a lot more growing to do! The patterns includes directions for dungarees and hooded jacket, great for little ones to dress up their bear. Also included in the pattern is a step by step guide to help you to sew and assemble your bear, full of photos and tips. He is knitted flat on straight needles. The bear takes approximately 200grams/360 yards of yarn. Printing warning: Because I have included a step by step assembly guide, full of useful photos, this file has many pages. You may wish to print pattern pages, while saving the step by step guide in your Document file to be referred to as and when necessary. Huggable Bears
I learnt the art of knitting when I was about 5 years old. Even at that age I was never happy to follow a pattern, always wanting to try something different. After a shoulder injury I found I couldn't knit anything heavy and out of sheer boredom I found myself knitting a bear. I didn't like the finished bear and thought I could do better myself so after a lot of frustrating frogging Huggable Bear was born. I love creating these bears and other animals, or should I say watching them create themselves, no two are ever alike. You may sell, raffle or donate any finished items created from any designs on this page. Due to the digital nature of downloads, unfortunately no refunds will be given.
