This beautiful garment goes from day to night easily. The construction has long raglan shaping for the sleeves almost dolman/batwing like. The delicate lace on the sleeves adds a visual punch to this sumptuous merino and silk yarn. The pattern includs two sets of instructions. Option 1: sleeve increases are worked in St st. Option 2: sleeve increases are worked in Lace st patt. Take a look at both schematics in the pattern to decide which one is best for you to make for you. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY cast on knit purl yarn over k2tog ssk pick up stitches GAUGE 25 sts and 31 rows = 4 inches/10cm in St st 2 st pattern repeats and 7 row repeats = 4 inches/10cm in Fir Tree Lace 24 sts = 4 inches/10cm in 3x1 ribbing not stretched To save time, take time to check gauge. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS To Fit Sizing: Woman's small (medium, large, extra-large, 2X-large, 3X-large, 4X-large) Instructions are given for smallest size, with larger sizes in parentheses. When only 1 number is given, it applies to all sizes.
