Easy to Make. Elegant to Wear. Every woman needs a cozy, feminine scarflette to keep your neck warm in the winter, or just to accessorize your outfit. The simple crochet beaded border adds a little bit of sparkle. Gather the scarflette gracefully around your neck with a simple garter stitch beaded ring. (I leave the ring on my scarflette so that I can put it on and take it off over my head.) Knit the scarf longer if you wish to wrap it multiple times around your neck, or turn it into a lovely cowl by simply stitching the ends together. The design features a simple two-row lace pattern that is easy enough for beginning knitters, and stress-free for more advanced knitters. The yarn I recommend is one hank of Kraemer Yarns Fountain Hill: 80% acrylic/20% mohair; 3.5oz/50gm; 560 yds. This sample features Fountain Hill yarn in Pewter and black seed beads. The neutral colors complement any outfit. One hank of Fountain Hill is enough to knit 2 scarflettes (or 1 long scarf). Easy to Make. Elegant to Wear.
