PATTERN DETAILS

My mother-in-law Barbara loved the mountains. She spent many a day at our family cabin. The cabin sits in a forested area along side a beautiful lake. It was her little piece of paradise. The stitch pattern I selected for her cowl reminds me of the trees and mountains that surround the cabin. The cowl is knit flat and then twisted and joined into a mobius. Wear it long, wound around your neck or over your shoulders. I'll be wearing mine every time I'm at the cabin, and I'll be remembering Barbara. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY basic knitting skills, provisional cast-on, basic lace knowledge GAUGE 6 stitches/inche over stockinette stitch after blocking SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximate size after blocking: circumference: 42", length: 12"
