I designed this 28" x 36" baby blanket using a medium weight/worsted yarn in a cotton/acrylic blend. It is a simple pattern using a combination of only knit and purl stitches to create a reversible block pattern for a beautiful and delicate baby blanket. A great project for the beginner knitter, it is worked back and forth on circular needles BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit and Purl Knit back and forth on a circular needle GAUGE 4"x4" (10cm x 10cm) = 18 stitches and 24 rows SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 28"x 36" (71 x 92 cm) SUGGESTED YARN 830 yards of Worsted weight

Originally from the UK, and after almost 13 years in Texas, I now live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and sons. Easily outnumbered by boys in my house, I am queen of my little realm, hence the title Ladyship! Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design. I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
